Our Story
Latoya Online Academy began with a simple belief that every Caribbean student deserves access to engaging, high-quality learning anytime, anywhere. What started as a small online classroom in Trinidad has grown into a trusted digital learning space serving students throughout Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, St. Lucia, Barbados, the USVI, and Grenada. Our growth is driven by a commitment to our students, while continuously striving to exceed expectations and empower every learner we serve.

Miss Latoya
My name is Latoya Thomas‑Tirbaynee, founder of Latoya’s Online Academy, and education has always been more than a profession; it is my calling. I am passionate about helping students recognize their worth, discover their strengths, and become confident individuals who can make a meaningful impact on society.
With over 20 years of experience, I have supported thousands of learners, each with their own story and potential. Latoya’s Online Academy was created to provide a space where students are encouraged, challenged, and inspired, a place dedicated to Increasing Knowledge, Motivation and Self-Esteem.
Every learner I encounter reinforces my belief that investing in children is never wasted; it is one of the most powerful ways to shape a better future.
Ms. Johnson
I am a literacy educator at Latoya’s Online Academy, bringing energy, creativity, and care into every lesson while helping young learners build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and develop a strong foundation that supports a lifelong love for learning.

I am a science educator as I hold a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Biology and Biochemistry, providing personalized lessons tailored to each student, helping them master key concepts, build confidence to help them reach their academic goals.
